Could it be, a dishwasher for your coach?
OK, this is more of a curiosity than a serious suggestion.  So, take it with a grain of salt!

The “Bob” dishwasher requires no hook-ups other than electricity and uses only one gallon of water.  The power requirement may be too much for factory spec battery & solar equipment (the energy label shown in one photo states 1000W and the run time is stated to be 20 or so minutes).  However, at 20 minute run time, it might be useable during “generator hour”.  Pre-Order price is stated to be $300.

Have fun and I look forward to others’ reactions :-)

I boondock with my buddy. He has a giant Winnebago Tour.
It has a dishwasher along with a clothes washer and dryer.
His 85 gallons of water doesn't last all that long when he decides to use them.

Well , it’s a clever gadget for sure, but as chief bottle washer for decades now, I can do it with minimal water and no loss of counter space. Warren, I think you’ve got too much time on your hands!  😉 — Jon

I'm the wrong person to assess this, since I travel solo and use very few dishes. I wash them by hand immediately after eating, using a minimum of water. When I lived in a condo, I did have a dishwasher... but I think I used it about half a dozen times in 18 years. There just was no need.

But with all that said... the "Bob" dishwasher looks really well thought out. If I were traveling with a family I might be interested in this device, especially at its very reasonable introductory price.

To me, there are two main drawbacks from an RVing viewpoint. First as Warren pointed out, there's the 1,000 W power requirement. Still, that could be managed with a short generator run. Second, there's the size: it's 13.4 inches wide. I don't know of any Lazy Daze-sized RV that can easily spare that much counter space. It might be possible to mount this in a cabinet, but I'd hate to lose that much storage.

One other thing: this is not a currently available product. They say that they'll start shipping in about six months, but with a brand new product, delivery times often slip. So ordering one of these now would be taking a risk. There are no user reviews, and no guarantee that it will work as well as promised. Still, as I said in the beginning, it does look very well thought out. :-)
