Replacing bathroom towel rack October 01, 2021, 10:09:20 pm Our bathroom wall towel rack to the right of our toilet fell off the wall during our last outing. The brackets had broken and the entire thing needed replacement. I decided I would get more use out of a hook style rack than a towel rack so I put one in. First, I added a 1”x2.5” x 22” to the inside wall of the closet to provide reinforcement for the 1” screws used to hold up the hook bar so the screws have something to “bite” into. I attached the wood with liquid nails. I can now hang four lightweight towels on the wall instead of one. I like how it looks too. In addition, I think I can also add one to the wood bar on the inside of the closet if I wanted. 1 Likes
