Replacing bathroom towel rack
Our bathroom wall towel rack to the right of our toilet fell off the wall during our last outing. The brackets had broken and the entire thing needed replacement. I decided I would get more use out of a hook style rack than a towel rack so I put one in. First, I added a 1”x2.5” x 22” to the inside wall of the closet to provide reinforcement for the 1” screws used to hold up the hook bar so the screws have something to “bite” into.  I attached the wood with liquid nails.  I can now hang four lightweight towels on the wall instead of one. I like how it looks too. In addition, I think I can also add one to the wood bar on the inside of the closet if I wanted.
