Re: Ford Bronco Reply #2 – August 23, 2021, 05:04:41 pm The Bronco sport weight around 3500-3700lbs, but isn't flat towable. The larger Bronco does have some flat towable options, but weighs in the 4300-5000lb range. Tradeoffs. I really like the larger Bronco, and the newer Ford RV Chassis (like yours) seems a better choice for towing it than what most of us have. Rich 1 Likes

Once outfitted, most are at or over 5000-lbs. Your hitch will need upgrading.I wouldn't want the first-year model, Ford is having serious problems with the multipiece roof, among other thingsThe Bronco I sat in at the local Ford dealer felt wide, much wider than a Wrangler, and the interior looked cheap, a lot of hard plastics. Another forum member drove a Sasquatch and felt the ride was much harsher than the Wrangler, probably the result of the extra big tires and the IFS's limited articulation requiring stiffer springs.I would want to give Ford a year or two to iron out the issues that most new vehicles have, plus there is a huge backlog of orders. The 2022 Jeep Rubicon Xtreme will have the same 35' tires and lower axle ratio of 4.56, matching the Sasquatch option. One positive thing about the Bronco, it's forcing Jeep to up its game. The competition is good for the breed.Larry 4 Likes

Re: Ford Bronco Reply #8 – August 23, 2021, 09:58:13 pm I placed an order for the new Maverick for the wife. It is flat towable with the hybrid option. I asked my friend (and dealership owner) Jim Click if I could cancel the order if we didnt like the vehicle when it came in. He was very happy to take it because Ford is not allowing him to order more than 1 hybrid for stock. Ford is going to an entirely customer order model with dealers having very little inventory. I dont know how well that will work, but.... 3 Likes
