It doesn't latch securely, so I added a bungee to the rear. That keeps it closed in transit, but is still easy to pull open.The little pencil drawer is self-adhesive, so mounting is easy. Never had any problems with them and still they work just as well in the new motorhome. They have never slid out while driving even though I have some heavy tools in one of them. 3 Likes
Re: Add-a-Drawer Reply #7 – June 23, 2021, 11:41:24 am The larger desk drawer I recommended is all-metal, and very sturdy. The only drawback to that one is that installation is somewhat difficult if you’re working alone. You have to hold it up against the underside of the table, and while holding it, drive in screws. I solve this problem by putting the drawer across the armrests of my office chair and then jacking up the chair until it trapped the drawer against the underside of the table. If you have two people, then you can probably find a better way to do it. :-)I had a similarly sized desk drawer in my previous Airstream, but that one was made of plastic. Nevertheless, it held up just fine in temperatures over 120° F. I would have linked to it, but couldn’t find it in a quick search on Amazon. 1 Likes
