flat towing a pontiac vibe
Does anyone have any experience with flat towing a pontiac vibe? We've been looking for a four wheel down towable, and found out that the wife's daily driver happens to be listed as having no speed or other restrictions towing four wheels down. I'm curious if anyone has pulled one and can give some pointers.

Also curious as to the current towing gear of choice.

Consult the operator's manual is my best advice.
My CR-V has a section in it for flat towing.

Since the Vibe is a rebadged Toyota Matrix, towing requirements/restrictions are probably the same.

I tow a 6 speed manual shift Vibe GT (2005) behind my RB.  I don't even know it's back there, and I had it set up professionally, no worries so far with dead battery, etc.   Not sure about towing an automatic.   And yes, a re-badged Toyota..180k miles, I've had for 15 years.

Can you tell me what you're using as the tow system, and where you got it all set up?

Henness.  It's a Sterling Roadmaster towbar that came with the rig when I bought it in 2010.  Champ's Family Automotive in Surprise Arizona did the Vibe set up (after my granddaughter totaled my 2005 Tracker).  Used the same set up, only specific to the Vibe.  I can't drive a stick-shift right now so everything is in storage so photos aren't available.
