Where do you put a trashcan in a 27 MB?

I just don't see a place.

Ours stays in the corner, partly under the small overhang beneath the sink.

Same here. We have another one in the bathroom. Both are smallish.

Same here. When working at the sink we kick-scoot the can forward to just behind driver seat.

Give it time and miles, Ted. Not everything must be solved in the first week 😉

And for the bathroom, try using a cereal container. It fits nicely alongside the toilet.

In our 2002 MB we kept a small trash can hung on the inside of the cabinet door below the sink. The trash can's lip fit onto a couple of 3M command strip hooks on the back of the door. The trash can was pretty small, but it was out of the way when working at the kitchen area, but easy to access if something needed to be tossed, I don't know if current MB configurations would still allow this.

I put one behind the driver seat, which stays in place by being snug between the seat back and the cabinet underneath the fridge.

I put a second one against the removable panel below the undersink cabinet. I stuck a magnet on the inside of the panel, and on the side of the trash can to keep it in place during travel.

A third one is next to the toilet.

I guess we are trashy people!

The previous owner installed plastic hooks on the kitchen/bathroom wall. We hang a plastic shopping bag from it for the garbage, cans and bottles sit behind the sink. both get thrown out daily, somethings twice a day.

Oval shaped bathroom can under galley sink and next to toilet.

In kitchen, we use a small trash can with a foot pedal behind the driver's seat. In bathroom, we use a plastic bread container. It fits nicely on the side where foot flush is.

we put a large can for recyclables and a large can for garbage in our shower. Lots of wasted space. When we shower, we simply move them for a short period of time.

The hook and bag solution mentioned earlier. We have dogs and small trash cans are either too tempting or to easy to topple and with young dogs often both.

I have started using a compost pail with a charcoal filter in the lid. I use this for coffee filters, food partials, veg/fruit peeling and I use a plastic bag for paper, wrappings etc hung on the drawer handle..slip one of the loop ends around the handle and slide rest of bag thru loop..locks it in place...cut when ready to carry to dumpster.... This pail keeps the smells and bugs at bay. The pail sits in the corner frt right of stove....or by sink....I use the vegetable bags from the grocery....after removing vegetable at home(recycle). I use a large oring type rubber band to keep the bag from moving/sliding down inside pail. I store spare bags under the bag that is in use..usually 4 or 5. I am just one person but this works for me.

Nice but not sure it’s good idea to block the vents for the charger-converter. But then, that’s just me worrying again, ha ha!

The good news is that it doesn't block them. It's a tapered can. It's narrower where those vents are thus leaving a good gap.

Rather than having a large trash can, we use a small oval bathroom-sized trash can (holds about a plastic grocery bag's worth). It does mean we empty the trash once or twice daily, but it's super easy to find a place to drop off a bag of that size (like the grocery store or a gas station). The trash can just fits under the kitchen sink (with a basket of cleaning supplies stored directly behind it). In the bathroom, we keep a second trash can, the same size - fits nicely along the either side of the commode.

BTW, we use a "hotel" trick and store the trash bags in the bottom of each can to make it easy to pop a new one in place.

Like you I also use a small trash can. You know how the top of a grocery bag will slip down into the can when you start to fill it up?
My solution is to stick two of those 3M 'Command' brand plastic hooks on either side, Up-side-down. When changing the bag loop each handle 'under' the inverted hook to keep the bag in place.

We have a 2017 MB. The can is rectangle and fits perfectly between the 2 front seats. Works for us😃
