How long do shocks last?
I put Koni's on in 2013 and it made a world of difference in handling.
I've put about 30K on LD since then.

It still handles much much better but a slight drop off.

Years and years ago Koni had a plant in northern VA.  They hosted a tour for the local Austin Healey Club.  On the tour the factory rep answered questions and a similar question was asked.  He said the answer really depended on how the car was used.  Oddly collector cars faired worse than cars driven daily.  That was because the working of the shock kept the rod that goes into the fluid oiled and smooth.  When a car was only rarely used the rod did not move much and the surface would become pitted. The pitting would ware the seal and the shock would start leaking.
