Numbers on my roof
There are four large numbers on my roof. I don't know if this is something the past owner put on or was done by LD. I was wondering if they are identifiers for the rig, or CB channel.  Anyone else have these?

They probably identify the previous owner as a member of the Southern California LD Caravan Club.

Oh, that’s interesting. Does the club still use numbers like that?  Why would they be on the roof?

When you join the Club you are given a set of numbers to place on your rig at your leisure. It's called 'Numbering In'. Most folks place them on the leading edge of the overhead so they can be seen when going down the highway. Some put them on the back. I put mine in my office here at home.

Perhaps your previous owners had helicopter pilots for friends.   ;D

Thanks for that information. I have numbers on the front left overhang and was wondering about that. ;)
