Resealed roof pictures
I have competed re-sealing my roof, all but the evaporative cooler and the AC unit. I replaced both vents with Maxx fans and I’m glad I did because the frames were rusted out under the old sealant. I put aluminum sealant tape over the lap sealant around the fans. I plan to re-seal the AC & cooler soon, then paint the roof with a UVA protectant paint to seal off any exposed aluminum. See pics below.

For the process, see my other post.

Good job!!  I did my last 04 LD about a year ago...it was work! Working in the heat made it worse for me...start around 7am got off the at noon...whew! I then started working my way down the rear rails on both sides...
The number one thing to do when buying an rv....check the roof and then check the undercarriage. ...if it's rusty run.....
Keep up the good work..

Thanks, Franram. I need to do all the side seams and windows soon, they all need attention.
What sealant did you use on the side seams? How has it held up?
