Vertical shade, blind or curtain, Anyone?
Wondering if anyone has added or changed the window blinds to vertical?  There has been times where I wanted to leave a window or two open a little bit and find it annoying that the blinds are horizontal and the windows open vertical.  IE, have half the breeze blow into a blind or leave the blind full open.

Not sure I was clear.  At home the windows go up and down and so do the blinds, so if I want to keep a window open a little bit a night I lower the blind to that same level.  In the LD the windows open side to side but the blinds go up and down. I was thinking of some sorta extra curtain that would go side to side also.

I have found the roller shades that come with the LD unit are high quality and are expensive to replace with like quality.  I wouldn’t like vertical shades in my LD because unless they were always secured I think they would clatter around when moving and that would drive us nuts. In your situation, I would add curtains to the windows so when the blinds are up I could still control light and privacy.  JMHO
