Hi Maud;  Welcome to the group as a new owner.  To start with, by all means go up on the roof to get aquainted with the layout, what the seams should look like and where operating items are.
As far as the fantastic fan is concerned, if it were 20 years old, I might suspect the 'vent open switch' to cause non operation, but for one this new, it is probably not that. By removing the internal screen (probably could be cleaned by now), it just unsnaps, you can see the switch from inside.  You can operate by finger too, but make sure the motor speed is off (0) before you reach through the fan blade.  More likely the in/out switch is in the middle position, off. It's not marked as such. Not to be confused with the speed selector being set to 0. That is a speed also, OFF being a speed.  So then there is the teperature adjust switch, make sure it is adjusted all the way to cold. My old fan has a hydrogen tube temperature sensor. Your newer fan may have actual electronic sensor(s).  If you still don't have results, time to check the built in fuse. If it is good, then check the fuse in the power center. If it were bad, it would be likely that other 12v dc items aren't working also, powered by that power center fuse.
I'm not familiar with 12v electric tooth brushes. My Braun OralB (had to go look to see what it was) charges off of 120vAC, and will run a few weeks off of an internal lithium battery, before needing to be recharged again.
Your overhead roof air conditioner is a heat pump (recent thread), but of course won't run in really cold weather, and needs the generator to run at all.  The propane space heater is quieter running on the house batteries, and uses propane, not gasoline. People in neighboring camp spaces will appreciate you not running the generator.  If you do have shore power, many use a little electric box heater. Mine is about a cubic foot in size. Its quiet.
I'm not sure if your TK has that wall panel that pushes in for the driver seat. Mine didn't and I put the cat door in the corner just in front so the cats (3) can squeeze in/out behind the drivers seat. My most recent 'rescue' I had to remove the flap for him to get through. Might have to go to the next bigger size if he gets any 'bigger'.

I think not taking new names on the list is a bad idea. Just keep adding names, you should have enough paper or your computer should be able to handle it.  Someone has to call back and check if the list is open? In the mean time if it opens before you call back others that called for the first time after you get on the list before you.

"As for your original question, although a total newby I am already seeing that I wish the Taj Mahal were wired with more 120v and 12vdc receptacles. I would put one of each above the cab on the driver's side for CPAP and iPad, add a 12vdc above the kitchen counter for my electric toothbrush, and a 120v plus a 12vdc by the cabinet at the door for a central electronics charging station."

Since "from the factory" is not available to you, a simple-ish, after-market solution, though not as convenient as built-in accommodations, are the small battery power banks that can be used during the day (or night), and then put to recharge during the time that you are not using them to power or recharge your peripherals.

A Jackery or Goal Zero larger battery bank could be utilized for your CPAP if you need to have the power somewhere that an extension cord is not practical.

The cost of an extensive solar power system can become breathtaking quite easily (yes, I'm speaking from experience!), but if you plan to be where there is a electrical hook up every few days, or are willing to run your generator, these little (and some not-so-little) units can be easily recharged, and are really the bees' knees for placing a power outlet wherever suits your fancy at the moment.

An additional benefit is that you can have electrical power quite silently, even if you ARE willing to run your generator just to operate a small-need appliance, AND they can be recharged during periods when there is no sunlight.  Most will recharge from a 12-volt receptacle while you drive.  To be sure, there are solar panel packs that can be purchased as a kit, or you can rig your own, so there is a nice choice to accommodate how you might wish to go forward with power needs.

All of these features seem to be an innovative answer to small-load power needs, and can be added any time, not just when ordering a new unit.

I tried to get on the waiting list with my hot little deposit in hand, last month...I was told LD is not taking any deposits at this time...too many on the list at the moment.
  Frustrating, I might add.

A friend called LD a few weeks ago to get on the waiting list, he was told to call back in a year.
Good chance many will never get a new LD, there is too much demand for a very limited production.

I just read Larry's post to my wife and she gave an "alternate" reason for the long wait. She said that due to the pandemic, there is probably a shortage of the carbon paper Lazy Daze uses for lists and buyer's orders! ;)

She surprises me every once in awhile!
