Free electricity
There is RV storage at the community where I live, and they supply a 110 volt plug and free electricity at each parking spot.  All the RV’s are plugged in.  I have not.  I have simply disconnected my AGM batteries, and I fire up my generator for an hour a month.   Do you think I should make use of the offered electricity?  I fear electrical surges, and don’t want to leave my surge protector outside unattended.  But mainly because I don’t see the point.  I am not technical, can someone enlighten me as to why I would want to keep the RV plugged in?  It’s in the southwest and so doesn’t get terribly cold, but it does freeze occasionally and I have winterized.

My LD is parked next to my house, plugged in 24/7, 365. Keeps the fridge always ready for a run, or as extra storage with company visiting (not often). Plus, if there's any maintenance needed all systems are available.  :)  Only run the genny once a month. Coach batteries always fully charged.
