propane tank
Hi Group;
About 6 months ago I brought up the issue of a blistered propane tank and different views.  It all began with a prospective buyer hired inspector  claiming that a new tank was needed with a price of approximately $1400.  Well, about 2 months ago, I finally found someone knowledgeable about Manchester tanks.  The company itself had emailed me that their tanks should last a lifetime.  The mechanic, for a modest sum, brushed and scraped off the blisters and repainted the tank and felt it was good as new.  The propane system was working fine and continues to do so as we just arrived to Florida from NYS.   Just an update.  Mike

An example of why I would not pay for an inspection. They have to find something. I paid for a home inspection when we put ours on the market to show prospective buyers there were no hidden problems. He dinged me for a few leaves on the roof. It was Fall and we had a monster oak tree in the front.
