Water Pump Follow-up & New Problem October 24, 2020, 02:27:34 pm Recently I had posted about my water-pump problem on my 2017 Mid-Bath. The water-pump had stopped working. I was RVing in Missouri at the time. I ended up lugging gallon jugs of water with me until I came home to have the LD checked. I took it to an RV service place in New Jersey, and they said I needed a new water pump. After leaving the LD there for several days for the new water pump to be installed, I picked the LD up. Water flows well from the bathroom faucets and toilet. However, there is no water coming out of the kitchen faucet. I called the water-pump installer and he said that the water pump worked, and he had no idea why the water wasn’t flowing through the kitchen faucet. He will charge me to diagnose this. He hadn’t checked that faucet. Does anyone have any idea why the kitchen faucet isn’t working and how to solve this problem? Thank you for any advice. Monica2017 Mid-Bath
Re: Water Pump Follow-up & New Problem Reply #1 – October 24, 2020, 02:52:34 pm Remove the kitchen faucet's strainer, located on the faucet's swinging arm and see if the water will now flow. The strainer can plug with mineral, sometimes a soaking in vinegar is enough to dissolve the calcium, others are so plugged that the strainer needs replacement. Faucets occasionally plug up in the valves, requiring more disassembly or replacement.Hope this helps.Larry 2 Likes

Re: Water Pump Follow-up & New Problem Reply #3 – October 29, 2020, 01:34:14 pm Thank you Larry. My son fixed the clogged kitchen faucet. He said that there was calcium buildup in the hose. He disconnected the hose leading to the water pump and cleaned it so it now works. Monica2017 Mid-Bath 5 Likes
