rear side-marker lights
Both of the rear side-markers on my rig are acting up a bit. The bulbs are good, but they sometimes don't stay on all the time. I tried wiggled them around some to see if I could see if maybe it was bad contacts or something, but that didn't seem to be it. The wife asked if there was model that not only had the red side-marker light, but also something to shine down on the ground as well to illuminate the road lines.

Does anyone have advice for troubleshooting the existing markers?

Does anyone know if there is product out there that combines side-marker and downward illumination?

I didn't see anything on the companion.

Check the ground screw, located under the plastic cover near the bulb.

Mine were intermittent and wiggling the ground wire caused issues.  I replaced the screw with one that is slightly larger and haven’t had and more problems.

It could be something else, but that’s a good place to start.

To see the road lines better...
You can get some led with battery lights and point them down.  So no wiring needed and you can put them low on the LD.
Others have posted about adding outdoor lights of this nature on their LD (so they have outdoor lights other than the one over the door) so searching and checking what they used might be helpful.
