width of street side sofa seat please?
Hello LD owners,

Thank you all for answering my crazy measurement questions here in this forum.  I have two more, please.  In the TK and midbath models, where both sofas are in the back, I'm looking for the measurement of the passenger side sofa seat.

First question:  can I remove the back cushions and just leave the seat cushion?  Or is it connected and folds out together?

Second: If I do Not pull out the sofa to make a twin bed, and leave it "up" as a sofa, would you tell me please how much space there is between the sofa back cushions and the edge of the seat?  On the LD website the specs section says 32".  I'm assuming that's including the area under the back cushions -- as if it were open like a twin bed.  I'm trying to determine how wide that is without opening it up, that is without the space under the back cushions.

The back cushions are not attached ( other than by small Velcro patches to keep them in place) and you can just lift them off.  When we break one down for sleeping, we stand the cushion on end in the entry well of the coach door.  Our TK is in storage, so can’t help with your measurements questions. — Jon

The bottom sofa cushion on the passenger side in my 2003 TK is 30” X 73”. As Jon said, the back cushion is separate from the bottom cushion. I sleep on this cushion without pulling it out from the wall and placing the back cushion in the plywood base area opened up when the playform is pulled out. The back cushion is stowed in the overcab, and the bed left made up. The 30” cushion width is not exactly spacious, but wide enough for comfort. (There is a 2” foam slab on top of the cushion.)
