Escape Hatch Cover removal help needed July 11, 2020, 01:51:00 pm It looks like hinge slides out? What is the wire I circled? It's at both ends. Is it holding the hinge halves in place?Bottom line...How do I separate and remove this upper half of the hinge?Over the years sealer has built up and reduced the hinge movement. I'll need to make sure that is all cleared away.

The original cover lasted 25 years.
