Followed thread suggested. Sounds awful. Way beyond my ability. My rig only has 30K miles. I would never be able to handle the traffic to get to the Mothership. I will have to just pray that the leak is only on the bottom plug and not a  crack up the pipe. I am going to try the plumbers plug remedy and if it doesn't work I will have to rethink a solution. It worked fine  before so I can't imagine what I did. Bad day at Black Rock

Hi Sharon. Where you say you have a plug in that 3/4" PVC, pipe that is the drain line for your fresh water tank. Most people have a quarter turn valve somewhere in that line. The valve allows emptying the water tank. I would suspect that valve is located inside the compartment to prevent unauthorized people from emptying your tank for you.  The outlet pipe with the plug in it should just be an open hole.
I put a right angle street elbow on mine to direct water into a bucket. I use that water to keep potted plants alive. (still drought stricken southern Ca. here) I replace the water with chlorinated water to maintain a full tank. (earthquake country amid the drought). My valve is alive and well. Hard to see just in front of the driver side rear duals.    RonB

So about that fresh water tank leaking.   Ours started to leak around the threads for the drain.  We tried 3M-5200 to seal the leak.  No go. It did not stick to the polypropylene tank. We discovered that the threads had a crack in them up to the tank bottom.  Tried to get a hose clamp up around it to tighten it down but couldn't get it to fit into the hole in the wood floor. My DH who loves his tools, has always wanted a hot air welder for plastics.  So tool purchased, now how do we get to the crack to weld it?  Take out the stove, cut a hole in the top of the tank above the drain. Weld in a new set of threads. Weld the hole closed. We did go low tech for a drain.  Hose and a cap below the storage compartment. We felt that the brass valve hanging from the threads put too much stress on them.  Put the stove back in, check for leaks, clean up and we are leak free.

Hi Teresa;  great to see those pictures of a repair. Tedeboy also had that problem recently.  Years ago I added a support to that pipe on my TK to avoid the cracking. (mine is OK so far as a 1999  TK)  That flex hose is a good improvement.  RonB
