My outdoorsman son has been camping/hunting for a few days every week in the BLM area south of the Anza Borrego desert in California with no problems.  Jackrabbit stew is plentiful.  His dog has been cooped up in his apartment since quarantine started and really likes the camping freedom.
The rangers are patrolling the park boundaries and handing out citations, but no restrictions on the BLM land.
