Periodic Maintenance List April 13, 2020, 03:11:04 pm As others have mentioned, this is a great time to perform periodic maintenance. I compiled the attached list of items I intend to undertake. I would appreciate your collective input on this list noting that I have been performing some of these items in the one year since we purchased our coach from the Mothership, ie; I am a preventative maintenance sort of guy. Thanks again,Warren 7 Likes

Re: Periodic Maintenance List Reply #2 – April 13, 2020, 04:57:09 pm Warren,Great list. One thing that you may want to consider before too long is the Meguiarâs Headlight Coating. Amazon.com: Meguiar's G17804 Keep Clear Headlight Coating, 4 oz. â Maintain...While it is not available currently on Amazon, it should be available elsewhere. As I mentioned a while back, I treated our â15 LD headlights after seeing reviews that put this product in a favorable âlightâ.I plan on making this a yearly maintenance project. Hereâs Scotty talking about the product. https://youtu.be/E9NP0_nF2akThanks for the list, by the way.Kent As an Amazon Associate Lazy Daze Owners' Group earns from qualifying purchases.
Re: Periodic Maintenance List Reply #3 – April 13, 2020, 05:23:46 pm I believe Joan has the maintenance list we have put together over the years, the one she used in the past when giving LD maintenance classes to the Ladeze group. The only things I see missing are lubing the door hinges, including the cab doors and the coach door.Tri-Flo is a good lube for many things including the door hinges. It's also a great bike lubricant.Yearly, our LD's window tracks are vacuumed and the water drain holes blown out with either compressed air or water. After drying, the tracks are sprayed with MCLUBE Sailkote, a dry lube used to lube the mainsail tracks on sailboats, it has better resistance to washout than other dry lubricants I have tried.MCLUBE SailKote High-Performance Dry Lubricant, 8 oz. | West MarineLarry 4 Likes
Re: Periodic Maintenance List Reply #4 – April 14, 2020, 11:02:32 am Thanks all for the input and support. Joan, does Ladeze accept male participants on an ad-hoc basis? I suggested to My DW that she might join. She responded: Why? I have a driver and mechanic, in a very matter of fact way....Warren

I suggested to My DW that she might join. She responded: Why? I have a driver and mechanic, in a very matter of fact way...You can drop your wife off, with the LD and then you will have to head off to a motel or another campground somewhere to wait for several days.Lorna, one of the Ladeze founders, asked me several times to bring my wife, dropping her and the LD off.She wanted me to come by once or twice to teach a maintenance class with the stipulation that I leave when the class was over. Either that or I had to wear a dress. Not being a cross-dresser or wanting to camp solo in a tent, I respectfully declined. Good thing Joan was there, she is a much better and probably a more knowledgable teacher.I see no indication the Lauralee has changed this policy and I agree, it's a special group desinged to encourage women to be competent RVers and not to fear driving or living on the road.Larry 1 Likes
