Don’t back up unassisted!
In Quartzsite this morning.  Those of us who are regulars here know this guy.  Tough lesson to learn.

We all make mistakes. I was undeservedly lucky; I got out of mine (see below) with no damage. I suspect the rig pictured above is going to need some work, but I hope it won't be too extensive or costly. My sympathies to the owner.

A 2-truck recovery.

Looks like it got his steps, damage on sides where the box came to rest on the arroyo bank.  Can’t tell about under carriage.

I've done something similar in a pickup truck.  The sides of a path can be soft and give way (slump down) even when it looks like you are a foot or two from the edge.

It's not an adventure if you know how everything will turn out.

That looks expensive. I did notice he was back up on level ground when we went out this afternoon to dump the tanks, grab lunch, and fill up with propane.

Can I just say that the Mexican food truck on the south side of Keuhn between 95 and Gamblers served us an excellent meal. I firmly believe that the dodgier it looks, the better the food.

That was my fear as I took scenic Arkansas Hwy 7 from Harrison to Russellville--couldn't enjoy the scenery lest I fins myself with nothing but air where I expected pavement (the road didn't seem to be a concern to the big rigs I encountered  :P )--but I think it could be lovely from the passenger seat...
