Motor hesitates while driving.
In the last 4 weeks, when driving on the highway, I have noticed very brief hesitations while driving. I would say about 1/2 second twice over 20 miles. My thought is fuel delivery via dirty injectors/fuel filter or???
..?

Fuel problems usually are indicated by continued missing, low power or periods of low power while going uphill.
Half second misses or hesitations are normally electrical in nature and difficult to locate the source.
With my limited experience with small blocks Chevys, I would suspect the coil, the ignition module in the distributor or a loose wire or connection.
Wish I could offer more help but without being there, help is limited .

"1990 Chevy small block..."

Have no experience with Chevy but those symptoms sound very much like early failure of the fuel pump on the E450 Ford!   :o
