What's your favorite thread? April 10, 2022, 09:03:16 am Although I haven't been active here the past few years, I am one of the "old" guys. I'm curious to know what your favorite thread of all time is? Mine is sort of a toss-up between coffee (which the old-timers may recall that I detest) or one other. The other one wins hands-down: a prolonged discussion of how much sunburn an LD driver could get on his/her left arm with the window up....or down. It got quite scientific with jargon I didn't understand. 2 Likes
Re: What's your favorite thread? Reply #1 – April 10, 2022, 10:30:04 am Wow! That last thread goes back so far it was part of the reason I decided it was time to retire from moderating! Andy saved me. The main accomplishment of that thread was to re-affirm Florida lies further south than California.Steve 1 Likes

Re: What's your favorite thread? Reply #3 – April 10, 2022, 01:00:06 pm I was drinking a cup of coffee this morning when I read this.Hi Ted, long time no see. We have missed you.It took a bit of searching to find Mike Richmond's sunburn posting, it was 20 years ago.Bug ScreensArguments with Mike could last for days, he gave Andy, the webmaster, a very hard time.Adding to the story, I saw Steve's LD in the local Lowes hardware parking lot. I put a note on the windshield asking if his left arm got sunburned when the window was up.It's mind-boggling that there is a group of us who have been here for over 20 years, and several who don't own LDs anymore but still enjoy the conversations.I hope it goes on another 20 years.Larry 5 Likes

It is in our blood. Whoever knows when another one may come along that is too good to resist! ;-> Virtual hugs, Judie <-- Sierra Vista, Arizona Adventures of Dorrie Anne | Photographing the West Today: Breakfast ********** 2 Likes

I tried to read that topic but had to stop. It was causing brain damage. On the other hand, I have 29 LDOF bookmarks which are my favorites. So I don’t have a favorite. 1 Likes

I think that incident probably drove Steve to look for a replacement for him as moderator.Chris

I happen to like coffee and I really enjoyed that thread. I have and idea. Hmmmmmm. Let me go brew a coup to flush out how to ...

You're sitting on an inverted bucket installing LED taillights on our rig. You made me feel confident to do it myself when we got our second LD and I even did installes for a few other folks here in New England. Thanks for posting the link to the sunburn thread - that truly was epic!Cheers to all.Ted 2 Likes
