A/C water on roof/Wicking water off the roof
I have a 2001 26.5 foot  Mid bath and when we camp for 2 to 3 days in a warm climate our
A/C works great.  The only thing is that the water condensation really leaves a lot of water on my roof.  When I pull out the water runs off and it seems like a lot to me.  Have any of you had the same experience?  Any ideas how to drain it off the roof before leaving?    Your comments would be appreciated.

You have discovered Lake Newton, a feature every LD, equipped with a roof top A/C, has.
The roof dips around the roof A/C and the build up of water is normal and not a problem as long as the roof seals are in good shape.
The only way to drain it is to lower one end of the rig enough to allow the water to drain off.

Larry,
May I add the other way to drain it is to roll your window down and 'let' the water refresh you as you drive off.......

I posted the same concern about 3 weeks ago.

I've been in such hot and humid climates this month, that I'd be concerned if I didn't have some water splashing over one side or the other when I pull away. :-)

Pool party anyone?

You would be surprised how many times that has happened.

FYI,
I've had luck wicking the accumulated water off our roof.  As mentioned there are a few places on the roof that don't drain all that well.  I've used cotton rags (cut into 2" stripes) to wick the water from the roof top.  Basically place one end of the rag in the puddling spot anchored with a small stone (gotta remember to remove prior to driving) and hang the other end over the edge of the roof (I attach a large paperclip to the end hanging over the side ensure it hangs straight down and is not blown back onto the roof in the wind).  Although it doesn't drain the water quickly, it works great.

What a great idea.  Thanks

A LD toupee!

You could put a bunch of them together, a crocheted hat on top, and play reggae music to keep people from asking what they are  ;)
