Service and Warranty
I see Lazy Daze offers a lifetime warranty on the frame to the original owner, but what about the rest?
How do they handle warranty service for those of us who live a long distance and drive from the factory?

Here's an example from SOB:
The conversion and the drive-train are covered for three years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. The appliances and fixtures are covered by their respective manufacturers for varying terms. Warranty service is available nationwide at the repair facility of your choice or at the manufacturer's plant.

From my experience they work with you to replace bad part if under warranty provided you are able to replace.  Otherwise, they will approve a service center, one we recommended, and pay for that service by reimbursing us in our particular case.

Our experience is the same as Ross and Beverly (previous comment). We had a backup light take in water. We emailed and let LD know and they sent out a replacement for free. They didn't even ask to see the bad one or even ask for pictures. They did ask if I had the tool to install it and said to bring the LD back for them to do it if not (we live 7 hours away, so I installed it).

In another unfortunate incident, I hit something and wrecked the lovely stainless front wheel cover. I called LD and they sent out a replacement. They told me to send them a check. If I remember right the cover was about $100. I got the cover before they got their check because they shipped it as soon as I told them about the problem.

We haven't had to have any other work so far.

Hope this helps,

The chassis of the LD is covered by the Ford truck warranty.  For our 2011, I believe it was 5 years or 60,000 miles whichever came first.  Appliances are covered by their manufacturers warranty.  Small issues, are usually covered by LD, if they occur soon after purchase.  For example, we had the bathroom mini blind replaced without question, after the medicine cabinet door repeatedly swung open and hit it on the maiden voyage. home.
