Before I fly to see an 01 barn queen.
I came across an 2001 30' IB advertised with 11,000 original miles. The original owner died leaving it to his brother in law. He's had it for two years. Says he changed fluids, got a new fuel pump, tires, belts, and batteries. Looks good in photos except for four or five quarter sized spots where the paints blistering under the rear ladder. I'll try to attach a photo. I'm concerned that it may be water infiltration. Current owner says he drives it short distances regularly since he got it. No extended trips though. Opinions on possible problems to consider appreciated.

Those blisters above the 5th step of the ladder look to me like electrolysis. But, you won't know until that area is sanded down to the bare metal. I can't say what your best course of action might be but I'm certain that Larry Wade will have an opinion when he gets home from Morro Bay.   ;)

Usually caused by some sort of water leak I would also be concerned about the lack of use its a 18 year old rig with 11000 miles on it when they sit for long periods of time seals and other parts will dry out.
How many hours on the generator that's another big expense if it wasn't exercised monthly .

Seals drying out and water infiltration are my concerns as well. Not sure if the risk is greater for multiple problems or having a nearly new coach . Thanks for the replies.
