The real question is will I be coming back? Nice to know that I'm still welcome at Morro Bay tho, just in case . . . Re: Photos from the LDO Media Files Reply #26 – January 23, 2019, 03:17:33 pm It would be nice to continue putting faces to the names we encounter on the forum, and to promote the get-togethers that help make this community flourish. Here's a shot taken from the SoCal LD Caravan Club outing last year which happened to coincide with Memorial Day. Within the Caravan Club are sub-groups of members who gravitated together over the years (decades!) by mutual interests. The sub-group for many who also post on this forum is the "Past Tents." At last year's May caravan at Live Oak Park (Santa Barbara County), the Past Tents were the host group responsible for theme and activities. We chose a USO theme and decorated the host tent and the large pavilion with photos and memorabilia of family members who had served. Here's the P-T group (minus a couple of errant members) from that meeting. Many of these folks will be at Morro Bay this March. From left to right (I'll only give first names for privacy considerations, and will * those whom I know post here):*Joan T("YMMV") holding Leah, Dennis, Eloth B, Daryl, Sally C, Irene, Gene C, *Larry W (partially hiding his mug), *Terry B, Mary Sue, Barbara, Mike G, Gail G, Loni & *Jon, Nancy B-Z & *Steve B, Renee W. -- Jon 2 Likes
