Another factory direct RV maker moving to dealer network January 18, 2019, 01:05:28 pm After 26 years of mostly "factory direct" sales, Phoenix Cruiser has joined with Campers Inn as exclusive dealers for their RV's. The company was purchased a year ago from the founder, Kermit Fisher. The new owners will be introducing a new line built on the Ford Transit chassis, called the TRX. They also want to increase sales of their MB Sprinters and felt that going with Campers Inn could help increase sales, exposure, and service points.Campers Inn does have a limited footprint of dealers, mostly on the east coast. its reported that Phoenix will still be taking orders directly from customers located in other parts of the country. This leaves a few smaller van conversion companies in the U.S. and Canada, and Lazy Daze and Coach House as the remaining factory direct class C & B makers.

Re: Another factory direct RV maker moving to dealer network Reply #3 – January 18, 2019, 05:32:38 pm We bought a used 2010 Phoenix Cruiser 2350 from them a few years back. It was on a 2008 Dodge Sprinter chassis, which was difficult to get serviced at the time, since no one wanted to take ownership of its issues. The Sprinter product had changed hands a few times, no one wanted to offer product support ... Mercedes, Dodge, Ram, Freightliner, etcAfter a couple years, we wanted to trade it back to Phoenix Cruiser for something a little bigger on a Ford. They didn't want it and actually spoke poorly of the Sprinter chassis. After they made us a low ball trade offer, we decided to sell it to a large FL dealer.Imagine this, that dealer is "Lazy Days".The irony continues ... our replacement for that PC was through an eBay auction. It was a used 2006 Lazy Daze RB. The seller was none other than, Phoenix Cruiser ! 2 Likes

Re: Another factory direct RV maker moving to dealer network Reply #5 – January 20, 2019, 01:24:34 am MSRP $125000-$145000 depending on size. They actually sold for about 25% less then MSRP.
Re: Another factory direct RV maker moving to dealer network Reply #6 – January 20, 2019, 08:29:19 am We looked at one a while back. It had very sloppy cabinet work and this was enough to back away from purchase. My view is if you can easily see sloppy work, there is probably more hidden. 1 Likes
