House battery recommendations
I posted awhile aback about a new to me 2001 MB. I'm getting a bit more info on the RV. We where pretty sure there would be a few things we'd need to work on. The house batteries are apparently dry and bulging. We're going to want to replace them. I'm looking for recommendations for types and brands. Anything else to look at replacing at the same time?

The rig is in LA at the moment.

At some point we're going to want to put some solar panels on it.

Sean, may I suggest doing a search for "batteries" and/or "Trojan T105" and you will find multiple posts, some of which will address your question. The consensus seems to be that the good old Trojan T105 battery is a good replacement and most often used. Also, be sure to check out the Lazy Daze Companion link on the home page and search for the same thing.
