LD Inside A/C Shroud November 07, 2018, 05:40:09 pm Well not exactly the most exciting news for most people but it was for us. After 3 years of trying to remove the inside A/C cover, we finally succeeded. Our cover is held in place with 8 screws! EIGHT. Two (2) were hidden behind the wing vents. (I have limited range of motion in my neck and I haven't been able to see all the screw heads in the cover. Margee was able to see all of them.) At any rate, we removed the cover and cleaned it. After nine (9) years of part-time use, it was not all that dirty and I'll not have to remove that cover for a good long while.
Re: LD Inside A/C Shroud Reply #1 – November 07, 2018, 07:05:43 pm A technique which has always worked for me in such situations is to first remove all the fasteners you can find, then carefully pry. This should show from flex patterns where to look for additional fasteners.Steve
