Some Other RV
I saw this plumbing picture on an RV complaint forum. It's not just the jumble of lines, but the number of them. Leaks are common as the screw clamps are not tightened and then tightened again after a few days, the way the Mothership does it.

From this forum, I have confirmed my suspicion that most RV buyers are clueless, they buy on how much the monthly payment will be, trade every 2/3 years to get out from under mounting problems and expect problems.

So glad we stumbled on Lazy Daze.

Lord love a duck...it looks like Rube Goldberg crossed into the Twilight Zone via an Escher maze--amazing that a water molecule could find it's way from point A to point B.

"So glad we stumbled on Lazy Daze."  Amen & amen!

Hi Lynne. As a maintenance technician on a variety of very hi-tech, and some not so hi-tech machines I've seen a lot worse, and this one isn't as bad as it looks. Notice that this is a behind the scenes view. There is actually enough spare hose and wiring that you can work on parts of it without having to remove and replace items in the way. I can identify most wiring, propane lines, and plumbing without too much trouble. Blue and red hoses for hot and cold water, flexible air ducting, etc. The other side of that brownish wood panel no doubt looks better. Labels would help, but if you need labels, you shouldn't be working on this.
Now I have seen things done to other brand motorhomes and trailers that were shamelessly done, cheap, 'makeshift' or just plain wrong, but this photo isn't as bad as those. The worst were questionable structure or unclean wood! Lazy Dazes really are well built, and have improved over the years.
I've included a picture of the wiring behind the access panel in the driver side storage compartment of my TK. I've added some wires, the tail lights are LED, the blue tape segments are labels to help anyone (me included) identify wires. I also added lighting (LED) in the storage compartment (not connected yet) and a 12v. plug for a spotlight, work light that I can plug in for night work Tire changing and such) .  RonB

Labels, and diagrams, are an aid to the next person coming along to work on that area.  Especially if that 'next person' is yourself and you can't remember what you did that long ago.  :)

I use a label maker, when I can remember to use it.
A photo before I take it apart is useful if I can remember to take one.
I need a PA.

DW is a label maker fanatic.  I swear if I take a nap when she has it out I'll wake up with a husband label on my forehead.

Did you know there is House and Senate RV Caucus? As I understand, such caucuses exist to allow contributions for re-elections. And also to ensure good working relationships between the government and industry. Wink! But, I may be too cynical.

I submit that most SOB's are manufactured in the state of Indiana. I really doubt I am wrong about that as all the major RV builders are located there.

There are 37 members combined in the House and Senate RV Caucus. 8 are from Indiana. Interesting.

How the Hoosier State became the RV Capital of the World

According to this article, 80% of all RVs are manufactured in Indiana, my growing up home state.

Three are from California.  Norma J. Torres of the 35th Congressional district in which Montclair is found, is not a member.   Perhaps this is why the mothership has troubles acquiring Ford cut-aways?
Caucus members listed here.

That must be the reason the Mothership does not have a lot full of cut-away's.
The RVIA has several web pages about the caucus. The Caucus has no web pages. I suppose that is a good thing as it would require staff to extoll their efforts to increase profits and market share explain how the caucus helps business.
