Unique Lazy Daze Sighting-1986 Lazy Daze Class A
Today we took an excursion from our home in Gardnerville, NV to Virginia City and then down the hill into Reno. Near the bottom of NV 341, Geiger Grade, where it joins S Virginia Street (US 395) we saw the LD pictured in the included photos.

This is a chance for some enterprising LD fan to acquire a unique motorhome, restore it and take it on the road. It was dusty and the paint faded, but appears to be largely intact, with no significant damage that I could see. Take it to the mothership, give them $25 grand or so to make it like new, have your mechanic do the same and you'll be the leader of the pack.

If you're in the Reno area and want to see it for yourself proceed to the intersection of South Virginia and NV 341, proceed toward Virginia City, go through the roundabout taking the first exit to continue on NV 341 and it's about half a mile up the road on the right, on the edge of the parking lot for Old Stone House Gift and Garden.

That ain't half bad. Wonder if the mileage is rated in gallons per mile. They could have sold it for twice that price before Burning Man since they're in the vicinity.

So cool! Thanks for posting those photos, Terry! I hope somebody buys and restores this unique classic.

The mothership really should reclaim this just for oohs and ahhs! It would absolutely be on my must see list if I was in the area!

Good chance the Class A will be bought by one of the LD Caravan Club members who own a fleet of collectible LDs,
It has a 1986 chassis and is title as an 1988..
The Interior is totally trashed, the owner has stored it with the windows open and it has been occupied by raccoons and other wildlife.
Restoration will be a long and extensive process .
