Women's intuition August 20, 2018, 09:58:04 am Hope I'm not boring people with all my stories on our recent trip to the coast but the smokes so bad today you can't even go outside so here I go again. I wanted to stay on the coast longer and said why go home to heat and smoke? My wife said she had an uneasy feeling and wanted to go home so that's what we did and it's a good thing I listened to her. About a quarter mile from our house we ran into a fire burning fiercly in a logging slash pile that the timber company that owns land next to ours burned last fall. It had been out for months but somehow reignited and if we hadn't shown up would have started the whole mountain on fire. I immediately called the fire in and the fire crew was there just in time.
