Bathroom Vent Fan
Does anyone know what brand bathroom vent fan LD used in a 2002 midbath? I can't find any markings on mine. And I need to replace the lid. I must have rubbed on the cover and I just noticed a small hole on the edge. Not that it will leak or anything with the cover over it. But I don't like it.

Since it's a standard 14" opening you may want to consider replacing it with a much better fan, say a Maxxair or even a Fantastic.   ;)

Your 2002 LD came with a tiny fan in the bathroom roof vent. The fan barely does anything.
Our 2003 LD came with the same fan...it was removed and replace with a Fantastic Fan the day we brought it home from the Mothership.
Steve suggestion to replace it with a modern fan is a great idea. You will like the significantly increased air flow

To replace the existing cover, remove it and take it to a well stocked RV store to match.
Covers have come in dozens of shapes and styles, they can be tough to order online if you don't know the brand and model.

Should you choose the Maxxair fan be aware that it comes with an integral rain cover, nothing else to buy!   ;)

Hi Lynn; When I was working on my friends 2001 MB last year, I took the bath vent lid off to replace the guts, but the lid was ok, so I put the lid back on after the skylight replacement. Just removing the 'guts' from underneath was a chore with all of the latex sealant. I didn't want to change out the frame. Someone else here just did that with the FFan, and posted pictures. Since the cover sizes are all 14" square, it comes down to the hinge type and the attachment point for the metal slider rail. I believe this is the one I used, but I couldn't find my records of the purchase. Inspect your current lid to see that it matches what you buy. I see Larry answered first while I was writing this. Yes lots of variations in vents. It is a worthy upgrade to put in a FFan or other brand. Almost anything has to be better than the one that is there. Good ventilation in the bath area is always a good thing.

I recommend the max fan with powered opening.....if there’s clearance between the integrated rain shield and the rear roof rack (it’s probably close).

One huge advantage of the max air in the bathroom is 1 button operation. Hit the “on” button and it opens up and starts blowing so instead of cranking open a vent you can get straight to “business”.

I have yet to upgrade the rear fan but when the time comes If there’s room for the integrated rain shield I will absolutely be going max fan in the rear.

Also when removing any of the original fan/vent housings from the lazy daze go ahead and have an oscillating tool. I am unsure the job is even doable without it. (Mine wasn’t).

The Fantastic Fans are available with wireless remotes that have the same functions .
Older Fantastic Fans can be upgraded with the 7350 kit which adds the wireless remote, 13-speeds and a vent motor, for remote opening and closing the vent.

True true....if the maxxfan vent cover conflicts with the roof rack a fantastic fan would be the way to go.

I don’t think the Maxxfan would fit on the midbath model. I have very little space between the vent and the skylight. So close I had to remove the vent cover when replacing the skylight.
