Another Perspective on Class C ... by Leisure
This Canadian RV manufacturer just released a new model 24RTF, slightly smaller, on Ford chassis/diesel engine. The video salesman certainly knows his product, as he shows both features and benefits. I've followed this company for years, since it is family owned and one of the brothers was missionary pilot with me in Brazil back in the '70s.
Wonder ... just wonder if perhaps, maybe Lazy Daze might consider some of these ...

A caveat on the Leisure Travel motorhomes: A number of 2017-2018 Wonders were recalled for incorrect weight "calculations".
-----
"Triple E Recreational Vehicles is recalling 792 model year 2017-2018 Unity, Wonder and Serenity motorhomes. The occupant and cargo carrying capacity (OCCC) and tire labels may have been incorrectly calculated, resulting in an indicated higher cargo capacity than actual.

The incorrect label can result in the vehicle being overloaded, increasing the risk of crash.

Triple E will notify owners, and dealers will install new OCCC and tire labels free of charge. The recall is expected to begin in March 2018. Owners may contact Triple E customer service at 1-877-992-9906. Triple E’s number for the recall is CA#8930-1."

I've looked at a Winnebago Fuse and a Leisure Travel Wonder; both are built on the Ford Transit diesel chassis with a GVWR of 10,360 pounds. I did not find *any* NCC/OCC weight information on either of them,  but when questioned on this lack of information, the salespersons offered cheerful assurances that the manufacturers would not manufacture an overweight unit!  (I did manage not to blurt a response or burst into hysterical laughter, but it was not easy.)

These are attractive, appealing little units (particularly the Wonder, which has better fit and finish than the Winnebago) but if I were interested in buying one, I'd calculate the weights of any add-ons, fill with fuel and propane, at least half-fill the water tank, load a passenger (dog, or whatever/whoever one is going to travel with), and get a four-corner "curb" weight on the thing before anything else is loaded in or on the rig.  Many people have no idea how much their "stuff" weighs; toys, tools, equipment, and supplies can easily add hundreds of pounds to the "down the road" weight of a rig.

YMMV, for sure.

I had looked up the Leisure Travel Vans some time ago and registered through their website after seeing their online products.  I have never seen one in person, but was impressed with their design and their numerous features.  You can view their lineup here at:  Innovative Class B and Class C RVs - Leisure Travel Vans

Today I received an email entitled, "Introducing the Wonder Rear Twin Bed with Revolutionary Exterior Garage."  The video shows a large rear pass through storage area (they refer to as garage) to put not just one, but two bicycles! Plus you have room for a barbecue and fuel!  In the video you will see the salesman work his way to the rear of the RV, next to the garage, as he points out the class 1 hitch!  That is a clue!  No toad here, ever!

I had "wondered" myself on how they put all their features, including being powered by a diesel engine, into a small chassis.   I just read Joan's explanation of the recall on misrepresented weights and CCC.  After the corrections are made, I wonder what their true CCC will be?

Mmm yeah!  the basic price shows on website for 3 models.  There's also a "build-it" feature, but I didn't take the time.
However this 2019 pre-release doesn't show as yet.

Exciting! If I cut a hole in my '91 MB shower wall, could I cram a Vespa into this newly available 'garage'? So many possibilities. You know, we saw one of their Unity models in a Ft. Tuthill pine forest near Flagstaff recently. And now I'm wondering if its standoffish couple had their twin beds separated after a fight, or whether they had pulled them together after a fight to make up, but at a critical moment the beds had separated again, ouch! Personal taste -- the white plastic interior looks straight from Ikea. Not for me. But probably best for a younger demographic...
