Re: New Member Welcome Reply #6 – September 24, 2022, 06:07:01 pm I own an all original 1985 23’ Rear Bath C-Class RV with 55k miles. Every option available at the time is on board and in working condition. Even the awning is original and functioning as it should. The roof has been re-coated but thats it other than engine work. It has all the original literature and manuals for every appliance as well. Maintenance documentation and a clean title. What kind of value would this RV bring on today’s market? Excellent overall condition & the value behind the name, Lazy Daze. Thanks in advance. Opinions & Questions are welcomed as well.
Re: New Member Welcome Reply #7 – September 25, 2022, 03:30:14 am Hi New Member; A name to address you with would be handy. I'm sure there are many good campgrounds in Arizona who would give us a place to camp, and I've been to a few in my travels. An interesting question. Are you looking to sell? Wondering if you paid too much, or trying to get your insurance company to place a higher value on your Lazy Daze? A thread just last week cast a few aspersions on your vintage LD. Voices of experience on what was then a good enough motorhome that these people bought them, and stuck with the company long enough to get newer motorhomes on improved chassis. Towing with a 22’ 350 Chevy LD? So Andy, Greg, Larry and Steve will be able to guesstimate values. Nothing of course would be very accurate unless we could see it in person. Condition is everything for a motorhome, especially an ancient example 37 years old. Any vehicle that has actually been used, out in the weather and streets of the U.S. for that long will have it's warts. At least getting parts mostly is still possible. Welcome to the club, and we hope you have good luck with your Lazy Daze. Hopefully we can all enrich each others experiences with our travels. RonB 1 Likes
