Kitchen cupboard over sink April 14, 2018, 08:28:15 pm Hi,I was wondering if someone could give me some ideas what you put in the cupboard over the sink. The long narrow one, a very frustrating cupboard, anything in back have to take stuff out in front. Thanks for the helpLinda

Re: Kitchen cupboard over sink Reply #3 – April 15, 2018, 01:15:06 am Hi, my husband build holders for wine glasses and cups by cutting pieces of wood which fit part of the upper and lower shelves, cutting circles in them to fit the glass and cup sizes, and lining them with thin felt so things don't rattle. paper plates and napkins and cans of nuts etc go in the hole at the left of the cupboard and coffee and tea supplies go in the front section not covered by the wood with the circles and cups/glasses. Works really well and a nice coffee station for breakfast. We also scratched our heads for awhile before we came up with this arrangement.Good luck.Jean - Silver Fox 27 MB 4 Likes

Re: Kitchen cupboard over sink Reply #7 – May 15, 2018, 04:06:31 pm Spices and dried herbs, packets of bouillion, salt and pepper, all fit nicely into the little pantry in the entry of the MB. I keep things such as ketchup, canned soup, BBQ sauce, extra bottles of mustard and unopened bottles of salad dressing, and often-reached-for-while-cooking "additives" in the cupboard over the sink . I also keep, on the lower shelf, the plastic wrap, tin foil, waxed paper and plastic freezer bags in the cabinet, on the left side. Easy to reach. Just like a sticks kitchen, we all find different ways to utilize space that makes sense to us. Sometimes it takes a couple of trips to sort it out. Those are gorgeous, Larry!Wracking my brain to think of a space in an RB for such a pantry. Any clues? I don't keep a lot of cans of anything around, thus have just been putting them in a drawer in the sets of drawers that I have in the closet in the bathroom. I usually have just a jar or two of pasta sauce, a can of olives, and a can of refried beans for emergencies.Otherwise, all of our foodstuffs are in either the refrigerator/freezer or repackaged into positively sealed containers to keep out moisture and/or intruders, and put into the bins over the dinette.Am thinking of alternate items that might fit in such a pantry . . .
