Silver Paint Color Codes
Greetings,

We are having our 06 30 ft rig painted by Premier Motorcoach in Santa Ana and I have chosen the Silver.

Can anyone provide me with the paint manufacturer and color codes for both the silver and dark charcoal metallic?  We are changing out our color scheme from the blue and gold anniversary palette and am trying to match the colors as close as possible.

I found the color chart on this sight but don't know how old it is or what paint the factory is currently using.  Cardinal, DuPont or something else?

Thanks in advance for any information.

Up to date paint codes are not available unless you can convince the Mothership to provide them.
The color chart in the files is obsolete and is of no use to auto paint shops .
LD's have been painted with polyurethane paint since the late 80's or early 90's.

Auto paint shops have extensive catalogues of color chips, I would imagine Premier has them too .
They should be able to advise you on what what particular shade of silver looks good.

Are you painting the window frames too?
It's an expensive add-on but it makes the rig look new.

Your paint was most likely DuPont Imron.  Yes, it is used on airplanes.    If you search Imron paint you will come up with their color chart.   We have found Imron to preform very well.    Having said that, we chose the traditional paint job in browns on purpose on both our '94 MB and '06 RB.    The brown paint holds up very well, no fading or oxidizing,  and is very 'forgiving'.  Even when it's dirty, it looks good.   :)

I do not know when the factory started putting the paint codes on the driver side door jams.  This is from my 2017 MB.  My two earlier LD's did not have them.  Perhaps when the factory changed from Cardinal to Dupont Imron

I also live in So. Calif and was wondering how your paint job turned out? Do you have before and after pics?
I would love to change out my GREEN to BROWN.
