A general answer about General Delivery

This may of interest to the very few that camp like we do. Sometimes we need something that is not available locally. I will use Amazon as an example. There is no way to force Amazon or their vendors to ship using USPS to General Delivery. The local post office may or may not accept a package from the competition, ie FedEx. You will have to ask the local post office if they will accept a package from the competition. If they do, expect to pay a small handling fee, say $6 or less.
