I saw a segment on 60 Minutes a couple weeks ago about the MIT Media Lab where all kinds of crazy and out-of-box ideas are explored. The Media Lab is where the idea of turn-by-turn navigation systems came from.

Inside MIT's Future Factory—60 Minutes — MIT Media Lab

This company sounds like a similar deal. Interesting!

A French gentleman who did not have the word 'impossible' in his vocabulary prior to his Eastward excursion marched on Russia.  This is a classic graphic showing the size of his army over the course of his campaign.

Thinking outside of the box is one thing, hubris is another.    Just a thought  ;)

Well put, Joel! That infographic is (literally!) a classic. It shows vividly how few made it back alive from that march. When I worked at ETS, it was an example often cited by the statisticians there.
