Re: Fire extinguisher recall Reply #1 – April 02, 2018, 10:32:24 am Interesting that LD has called for it in addition to the one Kidde called. When I called the Mothership for some parts in January, Todd asked me if I'd heard of the problem. By that time I'd already received my replacement. I went thru the list from NTSB linked here: Kidde Fire Extinguisher Recall List and found another one at home that was affected. Just reposting for convenience.
Re: Fire extinguisher recall Reply #2 – April 02, 2018, 11:12:31 am I knew that it was the same Kidde extinguisher issue, but I hadn't seen an 'LD specific' recall. Also, I know that it's not uncommon for the recall notice/letter to a consumer, if the consumer is notified at all, to arrive long past the time of the same recall's publication on NHTSA.
