Wannabe turned Owner!
After searching for 6 months... even traveling a bit to look at a few that were for sale, I finally found my very own LD right here (practically) in my backyard! New-to-me (& built at the factory in 1998-99 for The Dunns), a 23.5 Front Lounge! The nice man I purchased from was selling for his elderly in-laws and didn't know much at all about Lazy Daze -- he thought there was an association with LazyDays RV people nearby in Tampa! Bottom line...I scored a good one for a great price and I'm over the moon excited!

Your first unforeseen expense:   A bigger Christmas tree to put it under.
All it needs are a couple of strings of lights and name it 'tree'
Congratulations.

Wellcome...welcome..welcome.  This is almost four year to the day that LDy Lulubelle came  into my life.   ;D

Among all the other things on your to-do-when-you-get-to-it list (which can stretch out as long as you want): contact Lauralee Scholes, wagonmistress extraordinaire for Ladeze.  I didn't get to go last year due to all my brushwhacking, but they are a great gaggle of gals--fun, knowledgable, adventurous, experienced, & ever-so-generous to share knowledge & good times.

Here's to the many adventures you & your new baby will share.  What a great Christmas present for yourself (much prettier than the Brush Hog I gave myself).

Happy travels--

Congrats Debbie!  I see from your info you live in the Orlando area.  If you are interested in meeting some new LD friends, consider joining some North East and South East LDOs at the Yalaha Bakery (and Pub) in Yalaha on the fourth Saturday in February (24th) .  Very informal and relaxed, some bring their rigs, most not.  Hope to see you there.  Bob

IMHO there is nothing more fun then a road trip.  And a road trip is even more fun in your own personal LD.

In a word ..... welcome to the cult.   No matter what others say this is a great group to be a member of.

Congratulations!  A beauty of a rig and always fun to hear the "thrill of the chase" stories that usually go with finding a nice Lazy Daze.  You are going to love everything about that rig except that brush and critter guard.  Whoever put that on certainly was concerned about hitting deer or elk.  You will really appreciate what I'm saying when comes your first time to clean several thousand bug splashes off your new baby's face.   ;)

Congratulations, Debbie.  Your LD looks great.  Nice to know there is another Florida LD nearby.  Marie and I bought ours last June and drove it back from California before our summer adventures.  We're based in Sebring and are getting ready for a week at Sebastian Inlet State Park in three weeks, and then our four to five month adventure starting in May.  You're going to love your LD.
