Hellwig Sway bars on 1989 LD 22" RB
I am commencing the upgrades that I want to do on my newly acquired 1989 LD MMH with the rear bath. I am having new Helwig sway bars installed fore and aft on the rig prior to commencing the engine upgrades. The mechanics at the repair shop that is performing the work have informed me that the front sway brackets do not fit the current sway bar bracket holes. Has anyone else encountered this problem and if so what was your solution. I am a retired Navy Master Chief Petty Officer with 30 years of Naval service. When I had a problem that was supposedly unsolvable I went to the Chiefs mess and found the one who knew the answer. This is my new Chiefs Mess. Who has a solution?

Tom,

Please call Hellwig Products at 1-800-HELLWIG (435-5944) and ask for tech support. When I had an installation issue with my front sway bar hardware I called Hellwig and the tech promptly identified the problem and sent the correct hardware to me overnight. The company is in Visalia, California.
