Janet Tonks... loved her Lazy Daze(s)
Hi folks.  As many of you know, my Mom, Janet LOVED travelling in first Blue, then in Ghost Rider.  She went to Ladeze (I'll never forget the ladies walking her "home" from the wine tasting) and the time she got her mobility scooter stuck in a gopher hole at Morro Bay, or high centered at Usery Park with Lazy Daze Southwest.  She loved everything LD, and if we passed a fancy Class A, she would always say she had the best motorhome around.

Her last trip was our "trip from hell" to Missouri and back last May.

Last night, around 6pm, Janet took her last breath.  I'm always asked about my Mom, and how she is doing.  I think she would want you all to know she loved you all!

Lisa,

I’m sorry for your loss. Sounds like you and mom made some wonderful memories. May those memories full your heart with joy in these sad days.

Lisa, deepest sympathy on the passing of your mom.  It was nice that the two of you could make LD memories together.

Oh Lisa....I am so sorry to hear Janet has passed. I remember her well, and always enjoyed her company and conversation. You, like me, took our Moms with us on numerous trips in the LD. Mine enjoyed her adventures like Janet did. When my Mom passed in 2013, she was 91. I wanted more years with her, but it was not to be. I remember those trip with mixed love and tears, as I know you will.
Moms are precious, we only get one, and when they leave us, it leaves a hole that can't be filled by anyone else.
Wishing you wonderful memories, and always remember, how much she loved you. Hugs Lisa. tears falling along with you At 08:38 PM 8/28/2018, you wrote:

It was always a treat to see your mom at the LD GTGs.
She was lucky to have a loving daughter that enjoyed traveling with her.
Cherish the memories.
