Light show in the sky tonite Southern CA
Fantastic light show in LA CA tonite, Space X....before we knew what it was, we were a little concerned 😦
Nov 2023, 2012 31’ IB, white/green swoops & swirles, 2009 Mini Cooper, racing green convertible, toad 🐸

We ordered white/gray  2018 27' mid bath 1/3/18 and we are hoping for a July 16th 2019 delivery, sold, and tried a Lithium Travato, wish  I would have kept the Lazy Daze 27’

We found out about it on the evening news and were bummed we missed it as we had heard about it previously and meant to watch. Next time!

We had a great show in Poway. Some friends alerted us this morning so my grandson and I launched beer can rockets (over 100 feet) late in the afternoon to get in the spirit. We then watched the live feed on thecomputer, and minutes later it appeared rising from our northwestern horizontal .
It was a wonderful family show!

Wait, what? Was that the capsule reentry? I can’t find anything about it this AM. We are in FL and saw the launch, on video due to cloud cover obscuring our view. The recovery of the booster was perfect, looking like a CG movie.  Buck Rogers style.

We are at McDowell Mountain Park near Fountain Hills, AZ. The two photos are what we saw. At this distance from the launch the rocket was moving so slowly and initially was so close to the cloud plume I thought the plume was a fire and the rocket was the light from a helicopter.

We are staying about 25 air miles from the launch site.  Saw the impending launch on the news and stepped outside to watch.  It launched after local sunset and we watched the yellow/orange rocket plume climb from the horizon and then head south.  After a couple of minutes, the contrail reached direct sunlight and became much brighter.  It took a few minutes for the low rumbling sounds from the rocket to travel the 25 miles before we could finally hear them.  I wished I'd had the time to dig out a camera!
