Some require a lot of disassembly. What floor plan do you have own? Many tanks are under a bench seat. The seats are disassemble from the top.Once the tank is exposed, you may find a leaking inlet or outlet hose.Have you check the fittings on the water pump?Larry
Re: 1985 water tank Reply #2 – November 25, 2017, 12:58:13 am Mine is under the closet, and the only way I can see removing it is by pulling the closet floor. Haven’t looked that closely, as mine still holds water. Might want to look at all of the fittings you can reach before going too deep into retrofitting a new tank. You might do more damage removing the tank and finding one of the same dimensions could be difficult. It could just be a PEX issue. 1 Likes

I suspect it is a Multi-plan. Have you closely examined the closet floor to see if it is made to come apart? The floor is probably stapled in, as they are in many LD floorpans. You could call the Mothership and ask how it's done.LD is one of few RV companies where you can talk with someone who actually knows the answer to most questions, it might even be Steve, the owner. It's a very small company.Larry 1 Likes
