Please Advise - Touch Up for Cherry Cabinets
Anyone have any advice to offer on touching up the cherry cabinets, ours is a 2018, just a couple little dings and scratches.

Thanks!

Unless the cabinetry in LDs has changed in recent years, only the cabinet trim and drawer fronts are wood; the rest is vinyl-laminated hardboard/luan. The wood areas can be re-stained/re-finished, and if a scratch or ding goes through the vinyl to the luan underneath, the appearance can probably be improved by a stain touch up, but fading or discoloration or whatnot on the vinyl itself is a "cover it up or live with it" thing, IMO.

I've used Minwax stains (and low gloss polyurethane top coat) to refinish some areas of cabinet trim; here's a color chart.

A tip: Follow the directions to use the stain and polyurethane, i.e., "stirred, not shaken"!

If you just have a few little dings and scratches, you can purchase a minwax stain pen.
This makes it easy to touch up small dings and scratches.
Just need to make sure that the stain is a good match to the cabinet color.
