Kodiak LD
Was cleaning out a closet today and found a July 2009 edition of Motorhome Magazine. This was LD’s ad in the mag. Does anyone have one of these and can comment on it? I sorta remember this as being extremely short lived but my musty dusty isn’t pulling up any particulars.

Dave,

I don’t recall exactly how many were produced possibly three before the chassis was discontinued and the rug pulled out from under LD’s feet. What a shame because it is a real beauty and something I would have loved to own.

One sold recently for, I believe, about $26,000. I would own two LD’s now if I could have acted quickly enough. I saved all the photos from the For Sale listing. Perhaps one day...

What a platform for a gorgeous LD. I can only imagine what a RB model would look like.

Lazy Daze spent over a million dollars, according to Steve, on the developing the Kodiak.
This was at the beginning of Recession, when GM soon declared  bankruptcy,
During GM's reorganization, the Kodiak line of trucks was discontinued.
I believe LD built three Kodiaks. I have seen two of them, one in LD's showroom, the other showed at one of our Mach GTGs, back in 2009 or 2010. We have seen none since.

This was the third and last new RV that LD developed, only to have the chassis end production and become not available.
They were the Chevy GP-30, the Ford E550 and the GM Kodiak.
Sad that none of them continued to be produced.

That'll take the wind out of your sails for sure.
