Re: A/C won't work with the generator above 104F Reply #26 – July 20, 2017, 01:07:13 pm It is a major effort to install in the Roadtrek which needs it much more than the LD. Hopefully I get it done in September and will report. It is not small. 7 5/8 X 3 5/8 X 2 1/2".The install should be much easier with the LD. Roadtrek requires A/C removal and it is imbedded in the roof! At the moment it is a project I wish I had not taken on! Lows in Phoenix are in the 80's, Highs over 100. Too hot to work on the roof of an RV. The generator almost dies on every A/C start so if it works it will be very beneficial.

Or is that what you have already?"I think it will fit. I just have to remove the A/C unit to get access to the wiring. I would imagine I can always take it out of the case if necessary. It is just a big job on a Roadtrek with the A/C embedded in the body below the roof line. If it works I'll get one for the LD. The Roadtrek needs it worse than the LD. The generator almost quits at every compressor start.I didn't know about the videos. Will check them out. Do they show a before and after installation start?
Re: A/C won't work with the generator above 104F Reply #29 – July 23, 2017, 10:26:11 pm Saw the videos. We don't want to see a meter! We want to hear a generator running then turn the A/C on.I think I will do the install on the LD first, in early September. The Roadtrek install is gonna be a major effort. If it helps the LD I'll order another one.
