Will you organize it?  :)

Chris

It's a capital idea but, as Chris points out, a major undertaking to organize. Would probably again require a fairgrounds setting someplace although I suspect that there would be less rigs in attendance this time around. I suspect a goodly portion of the 2006 attendance was from the SoCal Caravan club, which has seen a steep decline in membership of late. Whoever's buying the rigs of the members who have passed on don't seem to be joining up. Perhaps they'd be more interested in a "one-off" national meetup rather than monthly get-togethers. -- Jon

Even in the event that it could be done, a 75 year reunion would not take place until the year 2031!

There would be many of us, myself included, who would no longer be here. Perhaps Lazy Bones 2 (who is currently headed for Peru) would like to attend a 2nd time.  ;D

Hi Chris.  No, I can't at this time.  But, I can offer this info.  Both FMCA and Escapees have had big meets at the Gillette Wyoming Fair grounds.  The site really managed all of these rigs very well.  This location is not too far for those on the west coast, and is a good stop-over for those on the east coast who might want to visit Yellowstone and Grand Teton parks in the state.  There is also nearby Devil's Tower NM in WY and Badlands NP and Mt. Rushmore NM in western South Dakota.

I would be up for that!  My Mom was born in Deaver, WY, about 200 miles to the west and I've never seen her birth town so it would be a good opportunity.  I may even have a LD by 2031!
